Review of a cold reading for 2013

It’s your year ahead….or how was your 2013?

Financially, look after your cash flow and check your statements but don’t worry, any problem should sort itself out soon. Just make sure you are organised and thorough. Whilst you feel that luck is not always on your side, remember that there is always hope. If you don’t try you cannot win. Have changed some accounts. And won a bit on the Euro lottery...am "up" on the few scratch cards I buy (only intuitively here - and it works).

I feel that your working life has been trying recently. You will need to make a choice soon. A blonde woman can advise you on how to proceed and can give you the back up you need when you want to change things. Yes I cannot get out as much as before. Hmm... difficult yes. Yes - the lady I spoke to was blonde. She can help in 2014.

A neighbour or close relative, someone who is sombre in nature and who has helped you in the past will need the return of this favour over the coming months. Yes a neighbour definitely needed help - I can't recall if she helped me though... Oh yes - temporary storage.

Travel is interesting for you this year. Whilst you will experience some set backs and it maybe more expensive than you had realised, there will be much excitement and happiness forecast. Not sure about the happiness but having to move was a set back yet exciting (really stressful) I mean) if you put it that way. Travel - yes it has been eventful.

This is an example of how not to do a reading or I could be completely wrong - let me know how right I am!!!! Yet I give it ten out of ten - even better than last year.

The dark side of Scorpio and the Tarot King of Cups

As it is the solstice, the year's darkest day, this is a reflection of the 'Psychopath' TV programme on last week channel 4.
In my sun sign guide for therapists, I noted that Scorpio's likely talent is psychiatry -  either side of the table.

Scorpio is a water sign and is "fixed" opposed to mutable of cardinal.
Solid water is ice, they can have a cold heart - unaffected by emotions. Of course, the human Scorpio will have a mass of other qualities that may counter this attribute. They are not all bad!

The tarot card I associate with Scorpio is The King (fixed on his throne) of Cups (the element of water).

It is here we find the psychopaths.

The TV programme revealed the most likely profession of psychopaths, Coming second on the list was law but the top most profession was banking.

This is not surprising as banking rules the 8th house, the house of Scorpio. (other's money, other's emotions).

The programme continued to say that these people often displayed signs of self aggrandisement. This to me is more Leo-like and fifth house.  In tarot terms this is the King of Wands. But they also said the bankers like the thrill of gambling which is a fifth house/Leo matter.

So if you have a lot of Scorpio and Leo (or 8th and 5th house) influences in your chart - go into banking!
