Mogoff Bergamot

Citrus bergamia or Bergamot has only one contra-indication....or does it?
Known as the sweet dreams oil, it has properties very suitable for teenage angst - spots, acne, anti-depressant, PMS reducing. Emotionally - well, how does the sunshine on a winter's day make you feel?
Winter being the best time to use it for its well-known contra-indication (when not to use it) is sunshine. IE avoid sunbathing or sunbeds for 12-24 hours after use on the skin.
One of its lesser know properties is that it keeps cats off the garden. Because it is also a deodorant, I think either they just don't like citrus smalls or it may reduce the smell trails used by cats on a regular basis. Adding 20 or so drops of Bergamot to a full watering can and watering your garden's boarders simply puts them off the scent. Repeat after rain.
I related this feature to students. One took a great deal of interest in this as her front drive was plagued by cats. The following week she reported that there were no more cats sitting under her car.
The new contra-indication? Suspicious looks from the neighbours as she watered the tarmac and not the lawn!
