May Chang ... May hem

Litsea Cubeba is one of those 'can't put down oils'. With its odour reminiscent of lemon sherbert, it is very moorish. Whilst it doesn't have a great deal of medicinal effects and could be a skin sensitiser, its main use is a fragrance enhancer. Whenever I used this in class, there would be fits of giggles... So with no one listening to the lecture, I suggested that its main use was not in massage but to burn it at parties. It has the effect of a little imp running about causing mayhem...
