Skip a de do damn

 

Can you imagine my excitement when having my bathroom remodelled, the  builder told me that the skip would be going in the week? That no doubt related to my tarot card the nine of wands which featured a skip:

 

“I came across this skip in my Mother’s street. A man was working on the house so I asked his permission to take the picture. He asked me “why?” After I told him, he asked what it means. I replied that it signifies that there is still more to do - this skip needs to go. He said “yes, we are waiting for a new skip so we can finish the job.” He was suitably impressed.”

 

And that's exactly what my builder had said about my bathroom.😄

 So just over a week passed and the building work was on course for being finished with the week.

 

Oh damn, this little baby skipped was still on my drive. My builder unfortunately contracted Covid-19 so it is going to be a while before he gets better and my bathroom gets done.

 

To my surprise, another small skip appeared – more waiting. Arggh!

All is well now but I think I am going to review what I said about the 9 of wands.

These nines, they just kept on coming.
