Captured on camera the lunar standstill

 The moon is not full until Sunday but last night at 10pm the growing moon appeared in all its beauty above my garden fence. It was one of those special lunar standstills.

I had my camera to hand - it seemed to take a good shot.

I was not impressed with the software "sky view" which I haad just  downloaded as it showed the moon some 60 degrees further east. At least it the information that the moon was in Capricorn was correct.

Maybe I need to calibrate it in some way.
