Gillian Avart LLSA Cert. Ed Aromatherapist, Reflexologist, Astrologer, Teacher and Reiki Master. Now retired. Gillian graduated from the London School of Aromatherapy in 1993 and later went on to study Aromatherapy at an advanced level under the auspices of Patricia Davis. Gill has fostered a practical hands-on approach to teaching and learning backed by a desire to know the truth in all matters and to pass on that knowledge. As well as running a practice, Gill taught the art to adults since 1995 including ITEC and VTCT practitioner courses in anatomy and physiology, massage, aromatherapy and reflexology and HND complementary therapy modules. Some of the more unusual courses taught by Gill include Astrology, Tarot, Reiki and crystal healing. And, as a Reiki Master, Gill furthers the energetic healing principals into all aspects of her life. Gill says that the ‘magic’ of the mind acting on the health of the body can be seen working in the healing arts - and it is much easier word to spell than psychoneuroimmunology!
